Graduates of various technical programs can take advantage of a DCS-BAC pathway for our 2 bachelor’s degrees:
- B.B.A. in Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Services Management (BGTH), offered jointly with ESG UQAM
- Applied Bachelor in Hospitality and Hotel Management (BAGAH)
What is a DCS-BAC pathway and what are its benefits?
A DCS-BAC pathway is a college-to-university bridge program. It is an agreement between a CEGEP and a university that enables technical DCS (DEC) graduates to earn credits for certain courses. The result: a shorter and more streamlined university track.
With the ITHQ DCS-BAC pathway, you could have up to 30 credits (10 courses) recognized and complete your university degree in just 2 years instead of 3.
What are the requirements to be eligible for the DCS-BAC pathway?

If you are applying to BGTH
Select the DCS-BAC (DEC-BAC) track program code for the concentration of your choice when applying for admission on the UQAM website.
If you are applying to BAGAH
There is nothing specific you need to do. If you meet the eligibility criteria, you will automatically be enrolled in the DCS-BAC pathway once your application has been submitted on the ITHQ admission platform. After your file has been reviewed and your admission confirmed, the registrar’s office will contact you to confirm the recognition of your courses.
