Overview
As part of the 2026 edition of the Montréal en Lumière festival, the ITHQ is offering a series of activities showcasing Japanese culinary culture.
Among them, this hands-on cooking workshop will immerse you in the warm, convivial world of izakayas — the Japanese taverns where delicious small plates are shared among friends.
Under the guidance of a passionate chef, you’ll learn how to prepare chicken karaage, crispy gyozas, and okonomiyakis — traditional dishes inspired by the flavors found in the lively streets of Tokyo and Osaka.
